The 'Something Fishy' Programme

Something Fishy is an engaging, hands-on educational programme aimed primarily at Fifth and Sixth Class pupils.  It explores topics such as fish, water, angling, and environmental awareness, and links strongly with the Science and Geography curricula. As part of the Programme, Inland Fisheries Ireland staff visit participating schools and facilitate a visit to a local river for the participating teacher/s and class/es. An optional project may be done by the participating class/es following the river visit.  You can find more information about the programme here: Something Fishy

If your school would like to be considered, please complete this short form here.  Places are limited, so we encourage you to submit your expression of interest as soon as possible.
