Togetherness online support pathways for parents, carers and practitioners

Tusla has purchased on a new resource available to every parent and carer in the country funded by Tusla the child and family agency. Togetherness has developed online pathways which help parents learn about big feelings, brain development, behaviour, and how relationships can care for wellbeing.

Built on years of expertise, informed by the latest psychological research, and shaped by real-world experience, parents have said that they find these pathways very helpful. Pathways are inclusive and accessible in a variety of languages and can be accessed anytime and anywhere at parents/carers own pace.

The pathways available cover every stage of the parenting journey: from pregnancy and infancy through the school years and into adolescence.

How can parents/carers access the pathways?

Access for parents, carers, and grandparents is available through the Togetherness Ireland website: www.togetherness.co.uk/ireland. Once on the website users can browse the pathways to find the ones that are most helpful. Users will be prompted to enter the access code and set up an account to start learning. The access code for Ireland is HIBERNIA.

Tusla want to make sure this online resource is useful to parents/carers, so they are undertaking research focusing on its feasibility and useability with parents/carers. They ask that that schools and services encourage parents/caregivers to complete the pre and post questionnaires built into the online platform.
