Course Content
This webinar will assist SETS to become familiar with the new SEN Guidelines, focussing on the 8 principles underpinning the Special Education Teaching Model and the key actions which are outlined in the Guidelines regarding the provision of special education teaching supports.
Learning Outcomes
- Teachers will become familiar with each section of the new Guidelines and the purpose of each in relation to the provision of special education to pupils.
- They will become aware of the sequence of key actions outlined in the Guidelines to be followed when planning and providing additional support to pupils with SEN.
- The resources provided in the Appendices of the Guidelines will be highlighted and demonstrated in order to assist SETs in accessing and utilising these templates and information documents to enhance their planning, provision and review of additional support for pupils with SEN.
This event is part of a series. Participants may register separately for any of the other upcoming sessions taking place the 10th September; the 8th, 15th & 22nd October; the 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th November; and the 3rd December.
