Information Webinar on the SEN Summer Programme 2023 for Mainstream Primary and Post Primary Schools - 'Building Confidence and Connections'

This webinar is for all those who are considering organising an SEN Summer Programme, or considering working on a Summer Programme, in a mainstream Primary/Post Primary school. This is not an Information Session for the DEIS Literacy and Numeracy Summer Camps. In this webinar, the Department of Education Inspectorate will give an overview of the SEN Summer Programme for both mainstream Primary and Post Primary schools. The Inspectorate will give two separate inputs on the SEN Summer Programme Guidance document; one for Primary schools and the other for Post Primary schools. Orlaith Hennessy will give an overview of her experience of the Summer Programme in her Primary school, while Narrell Byrne will give an overview of her experience of the Summer Programme in her Post Primary school. A team from the Department of Education will answer questions in the background through the Q&A function. Some of these questions may be addressed orally at the end of the webinar, time permitting.
