Ann-Marie Ireland

Ann-Marie is a former Primary teacher, motivational speaker, researcher, published author and professional development facilitator of courses in self-care and renewal for educators across Ireland. She has worked in education for over 17 years and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and a degree in Humanities. She is currently a full-time PhD scholar in the DCU Institute of Education where she is studying Primary teacher vulnerability and identity. She is passionate about living mindfully and working with others in the area of self-care in order to create more connections, along with cultivating a sense of compassion, empathy, gratitude and joy in daily living. She believes that filling your ‘well’ of energy can improve your life and the lives of those around you in subtle but powerful ways. She is delighted to be part of the ‘Ignite Your Light’ Series - a space where you can rest, recover, restore and renew during these challenging times.
