The aim of this course is to bring awareness of healthy eating/healthy lifestyle choices to teachers which can be passed on to Primary school students. The course brings a practical element to the curriculum guidelines on numeracy by including them in the day-to-day work done in the School's kitchen and garden. The course feeds into the SSE plans in the areas of healthy eating and the provenance of fresh food.
