The Teaching Council and ESCI Cosán Webinar Series - Adapting to Change, Reflecting for the Future
This webinar series will take place on Tuesday 1st December 2020, Tuesday 2nd February and Tuesday 13th April 2021 from 5 - 6.30p.m.
This webinar series, co-hosted by The Teaching Council and ESCI (Education Support Centres Ireland), is aimed at supporting schools in their professional learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, under the banner Adapting to Change, Reflecting for the Future. The series is open to Primary and Post Primary schools and Centres for Education in the Further Education sector. They will be facilitated by practising teachers and will provide opportunities for schools to learn from each other through reflective conversations that are underpinned by Cosán, the national framework for teachers’ learning. Teachers and school leaders will be invited to share their professional learning journeys during these extraordinary times. Facilitators will provide helpful tools and strategies to support teachers and school leaders in the development of flexible, autonomous and context-relevant professional learning experiences for all.
Schools are invited to nominate three staff members' (including one middle or senior leader) to engage in the series. In the case of small Primary schools, there will be flexibility in terms of the maximum number of attendees per school.
