This course will introduce the components of TEST2r; the Manual, child’s Scorebooklet, suggested interventions and a website providing links to resources. Participants will have an opportunity to handle the various components and experience first hand the structure and content of TEST2r.
TEST2r, an early screening, diagnostic and intervention tool has been developed by Irish teachers for Irish schools and is intended to prevent literacy acquisition difficulties in five and six year olds. Class and Support Teachers may administer TEST2r in their schools. TEST2r was formally launched by the Minister for Education and Skills in June 2017.
Dr. Cogan will have the TEST2r kit with her for all participants to share. However, if participants have a copy of the kit in their school we ask them to bring it with them.
