Creative Thinking in the Classroom: What's the Quack?
Using the LEGO® Duck Kit and LEGO® Serious Play® Materials and Methodology
Building with just six LEGO® bricks to create a duck is a fun and powerful way to engage the brain into thinking with the hands. Everyone, no matter what their age, loves a LEGO® Duck and participants will be amazed by the range and depth of learning that can take place. This hands-on practical workshop will guide and facilitate teachers through a range of LEGO® Duck activities that can help students to develop skills such as team building, communication, decision making, problem solving, lateral thinking, executive functioning, memory and more. LEGO® Duck activities can be easily adapted and used by teachers in a range of contexts. Participants get to take home their LEGO® ducks!
