Positive Ways to Boost Staff Morale

Positive Ways to Boost Staff Morale

'Employee morale’ describes the overall perspective, satisfaction, confidence and attitudes people feel in their work. When people feel good about their work environment and believe they can meet their most important career needs and goals, morale is strong.  When they don't, staff morale is adversely affected.

Difficulties come in everyone's life. We all have to weather life's storms and we hit rough patches. The last few years have been stressful for many. When people are stressed their need to feel heard, understood, recognised, supported and appreciated is often greater than in more 'normal' times. Keeping morale high during challenging times is both difficult and important. Good morale is important for the culture, productivity, growth and wellbeing of staff and students. Boosting morale increases the confidence and happiness of all involved. This paves the way for greater success.

During this workshop, participants will learn about morale and how to boost it and maintain strong morale in the staff room and in the class room.
