Step-by-Step: Reading, Spelling, Writing Webinar Series

This webinar series is a collaboration between Kilkenny Education Centre, Cork Education Support Centre, Waterford Teachers' Centre, West Cork Education Centre and Wexford Education Support Centre.

Julie Ann Fleming and Katherine Dee have created this series of individual but linked webinars to support teachers, Parents/Guardians and Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) working in the Primary school setting.

With an M.Ed in SpLD (Dyslexia) and many years teaching experience supporting learners with Dyslexia, Katherine and Julie Ann have designed this Series to help all learners who may be struggling with a specific element of literacy, or indeed be experiencing literacy difficulties across all three. Katherine is currently working in the Special Education Teaching (SET) role and Julie Ann in mainstream. Both presenters have experience working in a wide range of settings from Junior Infants to Sixth Class, assessing, designing and implementing interventions to support students with specific literacy difficulties.
