This webinar is a collaboration between Kilkenny Education Centre, Cork Education Support Centre, West Cork Education Centre, Co. Wexford Education Centre and Waterford Teachers' Centre.
We have to stop asking people to DO more. We have to give them a chance to BE more. The current VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) climate in schools is placing increasing pressure on everyone to continuously solve problems. Learning how to take a coaching approach can drastically reduce the pressure on people to always have to supply the answer.
Educators are hard-wired to 'fix' things - we need to remove this burden. By developing the three fundamental coaching skills of listening, questioning and offering feedback, we can significantly increase the number of solution-focused conversations that occur in an organisation, and learn to dialogue in a way that allows people to come to a wisdom together that they cannot come to individually. In this webinar, participants will learn practical, applicable and school-specific ways to do this.
