ESCI and EcoEd4All Webinar Series Webinar #3 - The Circular Economy

ESCI and EcoEd4All Webinar Series Webinar #3 - The Circular Economy

Following the very successful series in 2022, the Education Support Centres Ireland (ESCI) Climate and Nature Committee is delighted to collaborate once again with EcoEd4All for a series of four webinars this Autumn, looking at environmental and sustainability themes. Designed for Post Primary teachers, this series will address topics to bring up-to-date information and discussion topics to your students.

This webinar will focus on consumerism culture and its impact on the environment. The concept of the Circular Economy will be discussed and how it links to sustainability, environmental protection, waste as a resource and social justice. This webinar will discuss;

  • Consumerisms' fatal attraction,
  • Plastics: short term gain, long term loss,
  • A smart phone is not so smart after all, and
  • Using nature as our future economic model.
