A series of three face-to-face workshops (taking place on Tuesday 18th October 2022, Tuesday 10th January 2023 and Tuesday 21st March 2023, from 6p.m. each evening) to support cultures of collaborative reflection in Post Primary schools and enhance the impact of teachers’ professional learning.
ESCI (Education Support Centres Ireland) and the Teaching Council will co-host a series of three workshops for Post Primary schools interested in harnessing the power of professional learning to support their needs. These workshops will be facilitated by practising teachers and will provide opportunities for schools to learn from each other through reflective conversations that are underpinned by Cosán, the National Framework for Teachers’ Learning. Facilitators will provide helpful tools and strategies to support teachers and school leaders in the development of flexible, autonomous and context-relevant professional learning experiences for all. Schools are invited to nominate three staff members (including one middle or senior leader) to engage in the workshops.
